The trees are not mourning over their own deaths, they are mourning over yours. Do not kill which keeps you alive. After the death of the earth, there can never be a rebirth.

i don't think anyone has noticed yet, or atleast no one has mentioned it, but there are buildings such as skyscrapers and smoke stacks in the background.

im sorry this took so long, its just that this painting never really seemed to attach itself to me like all my others, so i never really wanted to go back to it. but im glad it's done, my dad likes it :P

EDIT: i just HAD to remove those dust spots.

there is something in the trees in Fall to Ruin * by ~sonne22 that draws me closer everyttime i glance at it. they show an expression, individual from one another. as the description suggests, they are crying, and i think it shows through well. take a look. (Featured by `alphaosiris)

very awesome use of symbolism here ! Especially the flowing from life to death, the cloud effect is a neat touch. definate fav !
