i needed to try out my new oil paints...so i thought a nice painting of mushrooms for my first oil painting would be a nice trial. i learned some things. be careful with linseed oil, for it is shiny and if it is only on one part of the painting it will not look good. :D

i wanted the mushrooms to have a spontanious feel, and almost an abstract perspective.

i do not know how long this took, probably the same time as my other paintings (without including the drying times)

NOOICE!! like like like. when enlarged, all the detail just POPs out. ---every one! fullview picture! very good work this time around. i like the green eerie background and the foreground lighting. good work. ~._.`

Great persective. Ii makes me feel like a little lost ant looking up throgh a towering fungus canapy. You also give is a nice earthy natral tone. I really admire it.

whoa! how cool is this!!!! its a great perspective and the mix of colours with the oranges and greens and browns works great , like most people i tend to shade mushrooms in one colour lol when in fact they are not , they are really just like yours :clap:

Whoa. The texture is SPIFFY! The dark, creepy gloom also makes it very unique...very stylized. I feel like a woozy, druggie elf. You should be proud. :D
